Our Team

The strategic direction and management of McCarthy Capital is led by Patrick Duffy and Bob Emmert. The Firm also relies on its founder, Michael McCarthy to help originate investment opportunities and chair the underwriting committee. The Firm also leverages the skill set of Robert Myers, an accomplished operating executive.  In addition to the individuals mentioned above, McCarthy Capital has seven investment professionals serving in the capacity of vice president, associate, or analyst (collectively, the “Investment Team”). The Investment Team brings a wide variety of skills and experiences in areas including finance, legal, accounting, tax, financial planning, and research, and has substantial experience in business operations, public and private company finance transactions, portfolio management, and financial services operations. All members of the Investment Team have capital at risk in the Firm’s funds and bring a disciplined adherence to our investment criteria and an active commitment to the partnerships with the management teams of our portfolio companies.
