Michael R. McCarthy

Michael R. McCarthy, age 60, is a Partner and also is chairman of the underwriting committee, which governs the investment decisions of the Firm’s funds.  Mr. McCarthy was involved in a variety of entrepreneurial activities before founding the McCarthy organization in 1986. Mr. McCarthy has substantial experience serving on the board of directors of public, private, and non-profit entities. Mr. McCarthy currently serves on the board of directors of Cabela's Incorporated (NYSE: CAB), World’s Foremost Bank, N.A., Election Systems & Software, Union Pacific Corporation (NYSE: UNP), Peter Kiewit Sons’, Inc., and Creighton University. Mr. McCarthy has an undergraduate degree in English from St. John’s University in Minnesota.
