McCarthy Capital invests in growing, profitable companies with proven business models, consistent revenue and earnings growth, and exceptional leadership capable of sustaining that growth. We invest in growth companies across all industries and are equally comfortable as a minority investor or as a majority shareholder. While we leave the day-to-day management of our portfolio companies to the entrepreneurs and management teams, we serve as active board members experienced in guiding companies through growth stages. We view ourselves as experienced advisors who work together with companies to ensure continued growth and success. Our capital is often used to accelerate growth, provide liquidity to current shareholders, fund acquisitions, and sponsor management buyouts.
Since 1999, McCarthy Capital has raised more than $475 million through four private equity funds and has invested in more than 33 growing businesses across the United States. We typically make equity investments of at least $10 million and take a minority or majority ownership stake in companies. We choose to partner with exceptional management teams who have a significant personal investment and a history of financial success.
